climb_ca has written for GetOutdoors since the original GoBlog in 2005, back when the beat was destinations, gear deals, climbing and the occasional "Dumb Idea." Today climb_ca edits the GoBlog revival and writes its gear-history features, with a soft spot for the packs, stoves and brands that refused to die. Tips and corrections are always welcome.
