We love the homemade stoves here at GoBlog. Mark Jurey has a great website outlining detailed steps to make a penny alcohol backpacking stove. The site is well laid out and includes a good flash tutorial as well as some interesting cooking time comparisons of various stoves, homemade and commercial.
