We read Trend Hunter because it's probably one of the more useless blogs around. Believe us, we know useless. Not only do they rarely get the trends right, but they don't realize that if even if they did, by the time they wrote about it, it would be over. But that doesn't stop them from trying and self promoting themselves as the experts. Which they're obviously not. Except in the area of fishing. Because, if you read this list, it's plainly obvious they totally have their finger on the pulse of fishing. Unlike our friend Tom of the biggest and most famous fishing blog in the world Trout Underground (that Tom is how you create an SEO link, not those stupid tiny URLs that give us no SEO credit at all), who is stuck up in Nor Cal missing all these great trends and innovations. Like this one:
Couture fashion house Chanel has just revealed the newest addition
to their luxury sporting goods line…an ultra-lavish fishing rod.
According to the Guardian, “for a mere £9,170 the ponciest angler on
the planet can kit himself out with a Chanel rod and a set of
meticulously tied, monochrome Chanel flies, complete with the famous
“double C” logo on the gossamer wings, presented in a rather fetching,
quilted black leather box.”
Ahh well, whenever he decides to stop writing a well crafted niche blog and start making some real money churning out endless "trends" and lists, we'll be the first asking for a job. Feast your eyes on the top twenty fishing innovations as identified by Trend Hunter:
