Slow news day, so we thought we'd introduce you to the latest in outdoor grandiosity, the Apex. At $1295, it claims to be the world's most expensive ski boots. But really, all we care about is do they look good. And to that question we say, bleh. You want us to throw down 12 hundred clams for that? At least one naked girl or some pop idol graphic like Michael Jackson. Is that too much to ask? Because really, anybody who's going to pay this much for a boot isn't really concerned about anything else other than telling people they just bought the world's most expensive boot. We kid. The Apex folks put a lot of hard work into their Michael Jackson boots and as long as they have a built-in toe massager and a place to hide our weed, we give them a thumbs up for doing their part to ease us out of the great recession.
