Back in 1976, when no one had heard of Indian Creek, Colorado local (and photographer and multiple guidebook author) Stewart Green shot a bunch of footage of his friends figuring out how to climb Supercrack. Lest ye forget, the late Earl Wiggins led the first ascent with nothing but a rack of passive gear and a stout pair. Green held onto the footage until meeting Chris Alstrin (who brought us
Higher Ground), who he decided might know what to do with it. The result is
Luxury Liner: The First Ascent of Supercrack, which will premiere at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colo., on April 8 and at Colorado College on April 10. Looks like lots of fun.
