Made In England by Gentleman Attempt the CDT

Ever since Cara Corbett and her mammaries dropped their bid to speed hike the PCT last year, we've been searching for our next thru-hiker heroes. Could these two brits, Cookie & Paul, hiking the Continental Divide Trail be them? Not likely, we give them 2 more months max, but they look like they know how to have fun. And any guy named Cookie deserves our undying devotion. They're also hiking for a good cause, cystic fibrosis research. So there you have it. Given Everest season is a wash, why not focus all your attentions, RSS readers, posts, sponsorships, and such on these two lads. Looks to be 100 times more entertaining than yet another Everest post on ExWeb. Via The Piton.

I walked the JMT with Cookie and Paul last year, and can confidently say that even if you physically removed the 3000 miles that make up the PCT and left a big pit, they would simply go the long way round. Expect to see them at the other end!

i am pauls mam, yea of little faith, they only have 120 miles to go to the canadian border, will they do it YOU BET!!!! As you know they are undertaking this trek to raise funds for cystic fibrosis, there target was 5,000 pounds, they are a long way short, if you could help in any way, it would be most appreciated. from a very proud mam.
