I wouldn't have even checked this out if it wasn't for our astute friend
Robin across the pond at the Team GearedUp blog. Google Maps added a "Terrain" feature last fall, and it was decent -- yeah, cool, I can look at terrain features, whatever. Well, Google just announced that it
added contour lines to its maps, making them pretty comparable to USGS topos. It looks like trails and campgrounds are even marked in most national parks. Next question: How do I print off a big enough one to make it useful?
