If you've ever seen what they call "snow bikes" at a ski resort, you've probably just said, "Hey, that looks like a great way to smash my balls. And way less fun than skiing." Darin Schultz, currently living in an RV between Keystone Resort and Loveland Pass, Colorado, is looking to improve on that concept, with the 4D Snow Bike. The kit can be installed on any mountain bike frame, and pretty much looks like a couple snowboard halves with slots cut into them for your tires (the 4D prototypes use paddle tires for traction). Downhill, it definitely kicks ass, from the looks of this video. Preliminary test models were sold on eBay for $469 before Christmas, and he'll be selling more this year.
