eBomb and I usually just skip each other's posts since we have very different tastes. His run a little south of Reno trailer park, while I like to think I've cultivated a more cosmopolitan perspective having lived and worked around the world. Case in point? Amanda Beard. I look at pictures like this one of her promoting her recent Playboy spread and think, yup, classic eBomb style. Especially the pink heels and suspenders. And that smile, my god that smile is scaring the hell out of me right now. Is one of her teeth missing?

I also usually have something to say about athletes pimping themselves like this. But I'll let someone else say a word this time:
Dr. Mary Jo Kane, director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport at the University of Minnesota says “It used to be that female athletes were portrayed as wholesome, All-American girls. Now you get female athletes in GQ, Playboy and the Swimsuit issue. The result of it is coverage that is very damaging—that trivializes and marginalizes women athletes because it does not give them the respect they deserve as competent athletes.”
Wait, eBomb trivializing and marginalizing female athletes? Say it ain't so.
