We imagine this will be happening more often as global warming hastens the glacial melt in the Alps and elsewhere. Last September climbers returning from a climb on Mont Tondu discovered some body parts which were recently identified as the remains of Jean-Pierre Camusset, one of two brothers and a sister that were killed in a climbing accident August 4th, 1954, on a descent of the north face of the Lex Blanc. The bodies of one brother and the sister were found, but Jean-Pierre's remains were never found. Reminds us of the
frozen WWII airmen that were found in Kings Canyon. Via
