Write For GoBlog

That's right. You're probably as tired of eBomb and climb_ca as we are. And since it's listen to the readers week, we're firing them effective today. But lets keep this btwn us since they rarely read the blog anyway. And if they do, it's only to one up the other. So here's the deal. We're hiring a new writer or two. You read that right. Hiring. As in paying you. Money. Cold hard cash. Not to mention the cred you'll get for writing for the most ~~reviled~~ popular outdoor blog on the intraweb. And pro deals. Yeah, we'll throw that carrot in as well. And all expenses paid trips around the world. Yeah, that's right. And gold. Solid gold bullion. And ladies. So many ladies you won't know what to do with them all. Or men, if you're female. Yeah. That's right. Of course the pro deals won't be from The North Face, but they'll be worth you while. It's a shame I'm already making the big dollars and scoring heavy with the babes through my top fly fishing blog.

Otherwise I'd take on your silly challenge, crush the other applicants under my jackbooted wading shoes, and turn eBomb and Climb_ca into my blogging bitches.

I wouldn't even break a sweat.

Let's face it; eBomb and Climb_ca are well past their expiration date, and bikini shots can only take you so far (well, Ok, that's pretty far actually). In just a few weeks, I'd whip this sorry excuse for a blog into shape (using a fly rod, natch).

While you sorry excuses for bloggers insist on featuring "outdoor oddities" and gear and all that other dirthugger crap, I know where the serious traffic really lies:

Celebrity Outdoor Watch.

Paris Hilton. Brittney Spears. Outdoors. Maybe a weekly "Baywatch's Best Outdoor Moments" feature.

That's all I'm saying here.

So go ahead, pick your bloggers from the crowd of also-rans and nobodies. Then visit the Underground, and weep as did Marc Antony when he first beheld Cleopatra.

Weep at the earthly manifestation of genius.

Weep for what could have been.
