When we started GetOutdoors so many years back, we had high aspirations. We weren't going to follow Outside Magazine down the path of Maxim magazine and become just another skin mag living off the glamour of its writers 20 years past. Mainly because we have no good writers, but more importantly because we were taking the high road. What the fock do naked women and men have to do with the outdoors? Well, we've found out. Nothing, but it sure drives traffic. So, there you have it. We've become just another exploitive media property. How do we rationalize it? Second, we've carved out a niche among the 20 terabytes of porn out there by celebrating women who achieved things in like other than look good. Like free climb the Nose or summit EverestWoah.
