Following up the story I've been covering of climbers witnessing Chinese border guards shooting unarmed Tibetans, here is film footage taken by a photographer filming one of the climbing expeditions. If this is actual video, and there is no reason to believe otherwise, it's clear evidence that the Chinese did not act in "self-defense" as they have
claimed previously. In the video you can clearly see a line of Tibetans and what appears to be the shooting, as well as video of a Tibetan hiding in a climber's tent, and then the Chinese soldiers sitting around smoking after the shooting among the tents of the various climbing expeditions.
View the video on the ProTV site here. One of the climbers released a photo of the murdered nun here. The Chinese are still holding 30 of the Tibetans, many of them children. If you're not familiar with China's systematic destruction of Tibet's culture and people, you can read an overview at the International Campaign for Tibet.
