From the exciting city of Kathmandu, we drive to the tropical town of Pokhara. We begin our trek from Dhampus and hike to a village at the foot of the sacred mountain, Machapuchre. After taking in a beautiful view of the Annapurna Range, we continue our hike to the village of Ghorepani.
We depart early the next day to climb Poon Hill (10478ft) where we have an impressive view of the South Face of Dhaulagiri and the Kali Gandaki Gorge.
We trek back out and drive to Pokara to spend an extra day shopping, taking a scenic boat ride on the Phewa Tal, visiting the Tibetan Refugee Camp, or seeing Davis Falls before returning to Kathmandu.
