Summers are mild with day time temperatures 60 - 80F. At night be prepared for 30s to 40s especially at higher elevations. Summer snow storms or thunder showers are a possibility. In spring and fall, highs are 40-60 and lows are 20-30. Winters are severe with temperatures normally in the 10 to 30 degree F range with occasional extremes down to -50 degrees F.
