At elevations 4,000-7,000 ft. (all states): Summer temps range from 70-100+ degrees F; winter temps: 26 to 65 degrees; annual precipitation: 11 in.. At elevations 7,000-11,000 ft. (CO, WY, MT): Summer temps range from 60-90 degrees; winter temps: 28-59 degrees; annual precipitation: 20 in.. At elevations 11,000-14,000 ft.
