Heavy rains make travel difficult during the summer monsoon season, June through September. October and November are cold at night, but amenable trekking weather. Daytime temperatures to not exceed 5 degrees Celsius during the winter months of December through February, and there is possibility of heavy snowfall. Spring days are warm.
