Maybury State Park contains almost 1,000 acres of gently rolling terrain, open meadow, mature forest, a variety of wildlife, and abundant wildflowers. The park has been located and developed to give people in the metropolitan area an opportunity to get involved in outdoor recreation activities in a state park setting. Special emphasis is given to introducing people to the natural features of the environment who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience them.

• Visit Maybury Farm, where the sights, sounds, and smells will give you a glimpse of agricultural life in the early 1900's.
• In the fall, take a horse-drawn hayride (offered for a fee) each weekend from 1-4 pm.
