Lynn Woods Reservation is popular not only because of its proximily to Boston. With 2,200 acres, it is the second largest municipal park in the United States. Lynn woods is comprised of deciduous/evergreen forest with creeks, ponds, wetlands and small swamps. Birdwatchers delight in looking for the more than 100 bird species, including hawks and owls. Large boulders and caves provide fun places for children and adults to explore.
