Tomlinson Run State Park ![]() Located at the extreme tip of the state's northern panhandle, Tomlinson Run provides a wide range of recreational opportunities to a large number of local and out-of-state visitors. The 50 (54)-site campground adds the dimension of extended overnight visits to this popular park, with a complete group camp available for use by clubs, families and organizations who want to sponsor large retreats. For those who want to "rough it" without the hassle of maintaining their own camping gear, there is the unique Rent-A-Camp system which features fully equipped campsites. The park extends along the stream from which it gets its name to within a mile of the Ohio River. Over 33 acres of water in the form of various ponds and lakes afford excellent fishing opportunities for bass, bluegill and trout. An Olympic-sized swimming pool with waterslide, rental paddle and rowboats, tennis, miniature golf and picnicking are popular at this park.
