Hawn State Park

One of Missouri's most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes, Hawn State Park is a superb example of the eastern Ozark sandstone country. The 4,953-acre park contains lush stands of native pines and hardwoods, and a generous understory of dogwood, redbud and wild azalea. A 10-mile backpacking trail, Whispering Pine Trail, leads visitors through pine forests and along Pickle Creek and the River Aux Vases.

Recommended Activities
