Appalachian National Scenic Trail
Appalachian Trail - Vermont West of the Connecticut River to the Green Mountains, the route is through high, rugged country of abandoned and overgrown farmlands and woodlands. From Sherburg Pass south, the Trail follows the lower 103.6 miles of the Green Mountain Blub?s farmed Long Trail along the crest of the Green Mountains. Trailhead: I91
Permit Information Permits are not required to walk the Trail or for overnight camping in VT. Vehicles and pack animals are prohibited.
Directions The AT passes from New Hampshire into Vermont just south of Hanover, NH. Access off of I-91.
