Island Ford Unit
Just south of Lake Sidney Lanier, this is the Northernmost Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA. Bowman's Island Unit has hiking, horseback trails, excellent fishing, and boating.

Permit Information
State law requires fishermen to have a valid Georgia fishing license, a trout stamp, and one hand held pole. All natural bait is prohibited.

Directions
From Atlanta: Follow I85 North to I985 North. Exit at Cumming Hwy and make a left. Then make a right on Suwanee Dam Rd. Then turn left on Buford Dam Rd and follow it into the park.
