Chevelon/Heber Ranger District
This zone contains the Rim Lake Recreation Area, Black Canyon Lake, Chevelon Canyon, and hundreds of thousands of acres of relatively gentle rolling hills. The Chevelon/Heber Ranger districts offer a variety of trail opportunities for forest users. Activities from short day hikes and nature walks, to secluded retreats and multiple day backpacking trips are available. The majority of trails are located in and around the Rim Lakes Recreation Area and along State Highway 260.
