Vernon Ranger District
Fullerton Lake offers campgrounds and picnic areas in a remote forest setting. Ruins and foundations may be seen by hiking the trail around the lake, which was once used as a log pond to store and sort logs as they were fed to the mill.

Permit Information
No permit needed, however some recreation areas do charge additional fees.

Directions
From Cravens, take Louisiana 10 east for 1 mile. Turn left (north) on Louisiana 399 and go 3 miles to the present-day community of Fullerton. Turn left (north) at the junction of Louisiana 399 and Louisiana 458, and follow 399.
