Evangeline Ranger District
Located within the Evangeline Ranger District, Kincaid Recreation Area provides a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including camping, swimming, picnicking, boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking and bicycling. Valentine Lake, surrounded by pine-hardwood forest, provides outdoor recreation opportunities as well.

Permit Information
No permit needed, however, some recreation areas do charge an entrance fee.

Directions
From Alexandria, drive west on Louisiana 28 for 12 miles to Louisiana 121. Turn left (south) and go 0.25 miles to Forest Road 205, where you will turn left (north).
