Florida National Scenic Trail

7 - Northwestern Terminus
This section is characterized by creeks and rivers, connected by road walks. The trail is established through Pine Log State Forest's pine flatwoods and sandhills. Some of this land is in the Moore's Pasture Wildlife Management Area. The Florida Trail will soon run through Eglin Air Force Base, of the largest Air Force bases in the world.

The western terminus of the Florida National Scenic Trail is at the Fort Pickens Area of Gulf Islands National Seashore. This is the only place that the trail follows an ocean beach.
