Santa Catalina Ranger District
With more than 200 miles of trails available for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, and with numerous campgrounds and picnic areas accessible from the paved Sky Island Scenic Byway, the Santa Catalina Mountains offer myriad recreational opportunities. Located adjacent to metropolitan Tucson, the Santa Catalinas are the most heavily visited mountain range in the Coronado National Forest.

No permit needed.

Directions
From US 10, take State Route 77 north.

Information Center
The Sabino Visitor Center is located just north of Tuscon on State Route 77.
