Cedar Creek District
The Cedar Creek District provides a variety of recreational experiences and wildlife habitats. With approximately 15,000 acres in Boone and Callaway counties, Cedar Creek District is one of the largest areas of public land north of the Missouri River. This area is home to Round Prairie, a 140-acre area established by the Forest Service to benefit wildlife and provide summer forage. For the anglers, Cedar Creek, Middle River, and the Carrington Pits support fantastic fish populations.



Permit Information
No permit needed.

Directions
Located at the edge of the Ozarks. To Round Prairie: from Fulton, 5 miles west on Hwy. H; 2 miles north on City Rd. 333. To Pine Ridge: from New Bloomfield, 1 mile west on Hwy. J, 2.25 miles norh to Guthrie; 2.5 miles west.

Information Center
There is a district office located in Cedar Creek (573-592-1400).
