Lake Grosvenor
Lake Grosvenor is ringed by the pristine, backcountry wilderness which characterizes Alaskan Parks. The lake's scenery boasts wild rivers and streams, rugged coastlines, and broad green glacial-hewn valleys. Due to limited access, the backcountry experience here is one of rich solitude and survival meant for those of strength and perseverance. There is only one National Park maintained trail here.
Permit Information
Backcountry permits are not required; however, the Park Service recommends filing a Backcountry Planner, which provides necessary visitor use information and is helpful in case of emergencies.
Directions
Grosvenor Lake can only be reached via small float plane or boat.
Information Center
King Salmon Visitor Center is located next to the airport terminal in King Salmon; it is open year-round.
