Minute Man National Historical Park


North Bridge Area
At the renowned North Bridge the first ordered firing upon British troops resulted in "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" and the beginning of the American Revolution.

Located off of Monument Street Concord, the North Bridge area contains Daniel Chester French's Minute Man Statue, the Grave of the British Soldiers, and the 1836 Battle Monument.

The North Bridge Visitor Center provides park and area information, ranger programs, dioramas, artifacts, muskets, uniformed mannequins, a twelve-minute video program "April Fire," and a bookstore.



Permit Information
There is no camping at Minute Man National Historic Park.

North from Concord along Monument and Liberty Streets.

Begin your visit at the North Bridge Visitor Center, 174 Liberty Street, Concord.
