Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Halls Crossing Today, Halls Crossing is the site of a marina on Lake Powell, 95 miles upstream from Glen Canyon Dam. There is a ranger station at Halls Crossing and a launch ramp and free boat pump-out station. There are also many visitor services, including: housekeeping units, grocery store, 2 campgrounds, laundry, showers, service station, boat rental, and boat repair. Cal Black Memorial Airport is located 10 miles to the east. The State of Utah runs a first-come, first-serve ferry, capable of carrying cars, trucks, RV's and trailers, which runs between Halls Crossing and Bullfrog. The ferry is occasionally out of service for repairs. If ferry service is crucial to your trip, call ahead. Permit Information Directions Information Center Activities
