Medford Ranger District
In the Medford District you can find another unique structure. At the Mondeaux Recreation Area stands a structure built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Progress Administration during the Great Depression era. This building is now used by a concessionaire and also houses an interpretive exhibit about the CCC and WPA.

Permit Information
No permit needed, but backcountry campers must camp at least 50 feet away from any trail or water's edge.
