Toklat
The Toklat region begins at Mile 15 and stretches to the Eielson Visitor Center at Mile 66. Private vehicles are not allowed in this area of the park, which is accessible via shuttle, tour bus, or bicycle only. There are no maintained trails in this region.

Permit Information
If you plan to do backcountry camping you must obtain a free permit one day in advance from the Visitor Center. A camper bus pass ($15) is required to reach most backcountry camping units.

Directions
This area is accessed via Park Road, and includes campsites and trails between Mile 15 and the Eielson Visitor Center at Mile 66.

Information Center
The Eielson Visitor Center is located on Park Road at Mile 66.
