Great Smoky Mountains National Park  The Le Conte Lodge, accessible only by foot or horseback, is the only lodge within the park. Reservations are accepted. There are a variety of lodging facilities available in surrounding communities. Le Conte Lodge Region: Roaring Fork Accessible only by foot or horseback, the Le Conte Lodge sits atop 6,593 ft. Mt. Le Conte, the park's third-highest peak.
