Public Use Cabins are located on four of the larger lakes in the recreation area, and are accessible by canoe, foot, or floatplane, in the summer, and skis, dog sled, snow vehicles, or airplane in winter. The cabins typically have a wood-burning stove, latrine, and fire pit.
