Blackwater Lodge sits on the canyon's south rim, providing a sweeping view of the densely forested gorge. Situated in a lovely wooded area about one mile from the lodge are 25 deluxe year-round vacation cabins. They must be reserved for a minimum of one week during the summer, beginning the second Monday in June through Labor Day.
