Near Forest and Raleigh, the Bienville National Forest is located less than 45 miles east of Jackson and less than 45 miles west of Meridian. Interstate Highway 20 and US Hwy 80 divide the northern one-third of the Forest from its southern two-thirds. Both traverses for 18 miles through the Forest. Other major travel routes are State Highways 18 and 35.
