From Rockport, take Hwy 35 north about 20 miles. Turn right on FM 774, go about 9 miles to FM 2040. Turn right and follow FM 2040 for about 7 miles to refuge entrance.

For boat tours, stop on Texas 35 about 30 miles north of Corpus Christi at Rockport Harbor or continue on Tex. 35 to the Sandollar Pavilion in Fulton.
