Sagarmatha National Park is located in the high Himalayas northeast of Kathmandu. Preferred ways to reach the park include: airplane flight to Lukla, followed by 2 days' trek; bus to Jiri and 10 days' trek; airplane flight to Tumlingtar and 10 days' walk; flight to Syangboche, which is the highest airfield on Earth; airplane flight to Phaplu, and 5 days' trek.
