From Whytheville, take Interstate 77 north about 10 miles to Bland. Exit onto US 52 and travel approximately five miles to the top of Brushy Hill. Then turn east on County Road 612 and continue until you cross back over Interstate 77. After a mile, turn north on the first unmarked dirt road, which will take you to the Wilderness boundary in about six miles.
