From Blanding, take State Route 95 west approximately 27 miles. Turn northwest on Road 275 and continue for approximately one mile. Head north on Road 088 for approximately 20 miles to the Dark Canyon Trailhead at The Notch. In some seasons, the Wilderness is easier to access via the BLM's Dark Canyon Primitive Area.
