Located in the Appalachian Highlands near the state's eastern border. Just north of Hillsboro and south of Mill point on US 219, a sign directs you to Watoga State Park. From this point, travel two miles to the eastern park entrance. An alternative route is to turn south from WV 39 at Huntersville and travel nine miles to the north entrance of the park.
