Access is by boat only. Primary access is from Long Wharf in Boston. Office and Parking: Rte. 3A south. Follow the signs (either state park or commuter boat signs).

From downtown Boston take the MBTA Blue Line to Aquarium Station and board a ferry at nearby Long Wharf. Limited ferry service is also available from the North Shore (Lynn) and South Shore (Hingham). Ferries operate weekends from May - Oct. and daily from late June - Labor Day. A fee is charged. Free water taxi service between the islands is provided on a frequent basis.
