Permits are required to explore the Deschutes National Forest and may be obtained from any of the ranger stations for a minimal fee.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: Ranger stations are located in each of the districts of the Deschutes National Forest. There are also two visitor centers located at the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Food and supplies may be found throughout the entirety of the Deschutes National Forest and surrounding communities.
