Permits
Permit needed for Christmas tree harvesting, available at all Bridger-Teton offices for $5-15, depending on tree size. A permit for stock use is required for Bridger Wilderness, from the Pinedale District Office. No permit needed for backcountry camping.
Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The Bridger-Teton National Forest Visitor Center is located in Jackson, and District Ranger Offices are located in Jackson, Kemmerer, Big Piney, Pinedale, Afton, and Moran. All offer visitor information during office hours from 8AM to 4:30PM weekdays during the winter plus Saturday in the summer.
