Permits
A permit is required for overnight stays in the backcountry. You may obtain one at the refuge office near Folkston, GA.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The visitor center at the east entrance is open 10 am - 4 pm daily. The visitor center at the west entrance is open 7 am - 7 pm daily.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Concessions: The visitor centers at both the east and west entrances rent boats and provide guided tours.
