Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: On Route 138, the Trailside Museum, operated by the Massachusetts Audubon Society, houses excellent exhibits and offers a variety of public programs. Also visit the visitor center.

Programs: Rangers conduct public programs that interpret the area's natural and cultural history, from prehistoric times to present day. Discussions, walks, workshops, and special events are presented year-round on varied topics including wildlife, recreational activities, Native American life and resource management. The Friends of the Blue Hills run outdoor activities and workshops year-round.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Purchase supplies in nearby towns.

Visitor Impact

Additional Information
Rockclimbing in Quincy Quarries is not recommended at this time, due to the draining of Granite Rail Quarry due to a crime investigation in late 1998, and the construction of a golf course and playing fields in that area.
