Highest weekends, May-August and October when fall foliage peaks.

Permits
There is no camping within the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: There are 5 visitor centers: Canal, corner of Hillside and Canal roads in Valley View; Happy Days, on State Route 303, 1/2 mile west of State Route 8; Frazee House, on Canal Road 3.5 miles south of Rockside; Boston Store, on Boston Mills Road 1/4 mile east of Riverview Road; and Hunt Farm, on Bolanz Road between Riverview and Akron-Peninsula roads. All except for Happy Days contain exhibits about the history of the Cuyahoga Valley. Call (216) 524-1497 for operating hours, which vary by season.

Programs: Daily ranger-led programs. Special cultural arts programs.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: No food or supplies are available within the park. There are many restaurants and grocery stores in the area.

Concessions: Privately-owned attractions located within park boundaries include a segment of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts, Carriage Trade, Blossom Music Center, Hale Farm and Village, and several golf courses.
