Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center is located on Kemil Road in the east unit of the park. Contact stations are located at West Beach and the Bailly Homestead/Chellberg Farm area. The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education, located on Lake Street in the west unit of the park, is open to scheduled school groups Mon.-Fri.

Programs: Public programs are more frequent on weekends and during the summer. Celebrating the seasons: The Maple Sugar Time Festival, held the first 2 weekends of March, and the Duneland Harvest Festival, held the 3rd weekend in Sept.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: The park is located near an urban area, with food and supplies available locally.

Concessions: Eastern National operates a bookstore/gift shop at the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center and Bailly/Chellberg Contact Station.

Visitor Impact
Information concerning closing of certain beaches due to high waves, rip currents or other unsafe swimming conditions is provided at the visitor center and by signs at each designated beach.
